LOGISTIC ENGINEERING
Preparation of Logistic Support Analyses and Logistic Support Analysis Records during a design phase to insure that logistic support considerations are incorporated in the design and will serve as a departure point for the overall Logistic Support Plan.

RELIABILITY AND MAINTAINABILITY (R&M) ENGINEERING
Provides recommendations to the equipment design and development process in an effort to improve system repairability and availability. R&M also predicts how and when the equipment will fail, how long it will take to repair, investigates failures to determine cause of failure and makes improvement recommendations. R&M controls the design development and reliability testing, component engineering, safety, depot technical advisement and other specialty engineering functions, planning, analysis and reporting.

LOGISTICS PROVISIONING AND PRODUCT/SPARES SUPPORT
Provisioning and Supply Support disciplines comprise a large portion of the L-3 Power & Controls Systems Group ILS organization. By utilizing state of the art methods, L-3 ILS has the capability of providing Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) in MIL-S.D.-1388-1A/2B, 1552A or Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) format. Supplementary Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD) can also be provided in a variety of formats, to include JCALS compliant formats. Our experience, gleaned through years of practical applications, provides the L-3 ILS organization with keen insight on identifying initial spares, providing required PTD/SPTD and continuing to meet operational support requirements in a timely manner throughout the life cycle of the equipment/system.

SUPPORT & SPECIAL PURPOSE TEST EQUIPMENT
L-3 Power & Controls Systems Group will identify, procure, and support all special purpose support and test equipment associated with the products and systems provided.

TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS
Prepares maintenance manuals and other documents in full compliance with all Department of Defense (DoD), Air Tranport Association (ATA) and commercial specifications. We have written manuals for all the services (Air Force, NAVAIR, NAVSEA, Army etc.), to include most major aircraft and ship building programs. Text for the technical manuals can be prepared using a variety of software (FrameMaker, Interleaf, Publisher, Word, etc.) necessary to fulfill the customer's requirements. Artwork and text can be output to any specified format or medium, to include Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM).
