Molded-Case Circuit Breakers
L-3 SPD Electrical Systems Actron molded-case circuit breakers offer state monitoring capabilities previously unavailable in Navy circuit breakers. As the only manufacturer of a complete line of Navy molded-case circuit breakers, L-3 SPD Electrical Systems offers a full range of frame sizes and current ratings for 60 and 400 Hz applications, including molded-case circuit breakers with fuses for fault current limitation. The molded-case circuit breakers typically are used in lighting and distribution panels, power distribution switchboards, IC switchboards, fire control switchboards and motor control centers. Actron molded case circuit breakers comply with specification MIL-C-17361 (AQB)
or MIL-C-17588 (ALB).

Air Circuit Breakers
L-3 SPD Electrical Systems Actron air circuit breakers offer state monitoring capabilities previously unavailable in Navy circuit breakers. Actron air circuit breaker features allow increased automation and reduced manning through local and remote state monitoring, bidirectional communications, control functions, undervoltage dropout, undervoltage lockout, power-up trip, charging motor protection and more. Each Actron air circuit breaker has continuous current settings and standard features included, and requires only a change in switch settings to reconfigure the circuit breaker.
The Actron series represents a whole new generation of "smart", tough, reliable circuit breakers that have won the United States Navy's QPL approval rating, and comply with Military Specification MIL-C-17587. In fact, the Navy's own analysis conducted on surface combatants shows that electronic circuit breakers achieve a 70% increase in electrical coordination over older and competitive models.
